Heading to approx. anchorage 017deg Magnetic, Distance .47 miles.

Approximate anchorage location, 45 deg.45.655’N, 123 deg. 58.381’W.

All co-ordinances are in NAD 83 (WGS 84).

When anchoring, we normally set our bow anchor and launch our dingy and set a stern anchor.  The anchorage is protected from the N/W wind but has some of the swell off of the ocean.  Anchoring bow on to the swell allows the boat to ride better at anchor.

In the event that the weather does not cooperate with the offshore plan we can have a get together in Cathlamet Bay (Tongue Point).  The sail plan for S/V ANDY would be something near the following.

Depart the Cathlamet Bay anchorage 3 Sept. 2011 @ 09:00 , cross the Columbia River Bar near 11:00 and arrive Falcon Cove near 16:00 .  Depart Falcon Cove 5 Sept. 2011 @ 09:00 , arrive Columbia River Bar near 14:00 and proceed upriver.  Any suggestions please contact us.
